The Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS): Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe and Chad.

The Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) is a Central African economic and integration organisation.

The member countries of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) are:

  1. Angola
  2. Burundi
  3. Cameroon
  4. Chad
  5. Central African Republic
  6. Equatorial Guinea
  7. Gabon
  8. Republic of the Congo
  9. Democratic Republic of the Congo
  10. Rwanda
  11. São Tomé and Príncipe

Chad, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo and São Tomé and Príncipe are also members of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC)

The purpose of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) is to achieve the economic integration of the member countries:

  1. An ECCAS common market: not reached
  2. A Customs Union: not reached
  3. A common currency: CFA Franc (ECCAS)
